Since CAF has only one goal, to advance the cosmetology professions, we are uniquely positioned to be the repository of industry wide projects and concerns.

It is our long-term goal to become financially secure with the support of our entire industry. 

We would then be positioned to fund many initiatives such as:

1) Government/Regulatory issues

2) Help create a Political Action Committee (PAC)

3) Continue to drive careers in cosmetology thereby ensuring a sufficient workforce

4) Become a repository for industry data and statistics, valid and well-researched

5) Take on initiatives to expand our industry as a whole.  Marketing efforts that would drive consumers to salons to receive and expand services.

6) Become a leader, perhaps through the fashion industry, to develop looks and style trends to satisfy consumer need and reinforce the image and perception that we can make a difference in everyday lives.  Create the perception that we are indispensable and necessary.
